Sustained Reading:
Thucydides
Thucydides was my attempt to design and set type for sustained reading. Using Robert B. Strassler’s translation and notes I created a hierarchal system that is fluid and cohesive. This was difficult considering the introduction is by one author, which is followed by Strassler’s translation of Thucydides writing about the “Funeral Oration of Pericles” in 431 B.C. recording what Pericles stated.
